How to Create a Dataset in M*Modal

Here is a simple step by step guide to creating the dataset that is needed for the “get checked” script to work:

1. Hold down the shift key and click on the grey M*Modal app.
2. Click on datasets from the drop down menu that appears.
3. This should bring up the manage a data sets pop-up - click the “+ Add” box in the top right.
4. This will then bring up the Add a data set interface. Enter “checkingData” in the “Name your data set field”. Do not include the quotation marks on this or any other step, and text has to be entered exactly as written here including capitalization!
5. Then type your GMC/reference number in the Values box, followed by “;GMC” then click the add button. This should add a line to the box below.
6. Type the line of text you want added to the report in Values box, followed by “;checkText”, then click the add button.
7. This should leave you with a dataset called “checkingData” with two lines in the values box below, each with a section in black with “GMC” or “checkText” in grey after.
8. Click the blue save box at the bottom and you are done! The “get checked” script should now work.
